Bear Grizzly?

So I am looking at this as a possible first bow. Price is pretty good for me. Any feedback would be great. Also looking at the Montana long bow.

Welcome!!

Hard to go wrong with one of Fred's bows. The Grizzly would be an excellent 1st bow and if the price is right.....

I have had both and enjoyed them quite a bit. Good place to start.

I second the Grizzly, they are great shooting, fun and economical bows....and if you buy one used you can really find one at a great price.

I have two 70's vintage grizzly's they were cheap and they shoot like they were new ones. You can pick up a Grizzly for well under $200 i have taken a lot of game with mine, I feel you get a lot of bang for your buck with one.

Nothing at all wrong with a Grizzly.  My Grizz is my go to bowfishing bow, given the black glass, it may see some time in a blind this spring as well.

Save some money and buy one of the old used ones, it would be a great first bow. You may find one here if you wait a couple of weeks. They are always coming up.

I bought a new one several months ago from 3rivers. Nice, solid recurve, 45# and shoots a 2016 aluminum pretty darn good. Even though I've moved on into longbows I'm keeping it to loan to any buddies that want to get off the training wheels. Pleasant shooting bow with a solid track record.
