sharpening single bevel land sharks
«

Does anyone have any ideas for sharpening single bevel land sharks. There is a topic on the how to's but it is for double bevel. I have bought the sharpening system for the land sharks from their website but I do not feel it gets them sharp enough for me.
The flare at the bottom makes it difficult to get the right angle.

I'm sure it could be made to work. However, that system was designed for their dbl. bvl. heads. The angles are quite different. I've had no problems using it with their normal bvl. heads. In fact, I was supprised how well it did work. H

I was wondering if anyone had experience with the KME knife sharpener and the simmons design heads?

Scott, I wondered the same thing. I have the KME broadhead sharpener and it will not work because of the design of the land shark. The curved blade does not get down level on the stone.

Paper wheel system works well, mirror bright, spooky sharp with practice.
This KME product also does a good job on them.
Stay tuned, rumor has it more awesome stuff is in the mill @ KME!
