The WV season opens next Monday and I'm anxious. Here are a couple of pics...

First the "4 Amigos"... 4 jakes that are traveling our farm together. Our spring limit is 2 bearded turkeys... I'd settle for one of these!
 

But would really like to connect with this guy.

Thanks on the good luck wishes... I'll probably need them! After "a bunch" with the shotgun, I carried only the recurve last year... and didn't get a bird for the first year in a LONG time.

I did call one in for my son (he was using a shotgun)... but didn't get a shot with the recurve all last season. They were either too far or on the wrong side of my blind, etc. etc. etc. :knothead:

At this point, I never plan on hunting them with a shotgun again. Trad is just too much fun.    :D

Those WV woods and birds sure look good. Good luck with the four amigos, big daddy, or whatever you see, and shoot straight.  :archer:
