Well I decided to have a new riser made and after speaking with Beth I finally decided on the wood. Its going to be shedua and I havent decided what accent stripes if any are going to be used, but here is a pick of the riser block. Let me no what you think, thanks Josh

Go for it, that's the best looking piece of Shedua I've ever seen. I ordered some Shedua in a bow once and it had no grain at all in it as this does. That's purdy.

Great wood choice , figured Shedua is one of my favorite woods. Would look good with an Amarilla or Bocote accent. Make sure we see it when its done!

Should be a real nice riser with that. Most of the Shedua I see in bows is grainless.

Nice, I would like to see a Osage accent with that!

I have 2 sets of limbs that are for this bow. One set is zebrawood and the other is curly maple and both have walnut diamondwood wedges, so I cant decide what accent stripe to choose.

I like the chocolate appearance and the terrific grain. I like Myrtle as a contrasting wood.
