Footing with sinew
« on: April 25, 2010, 12:27:00 PM »
I don't know if this is a new idea or not, but I was thinking of footing my carbon arrows with artifical sinew. It certianly would be light and tighter than alunium. Maybe not as strong but strong enough. Has anyone tried this?

How would you go about footing an arrow with artificial sinew?

Simply wind it around the end as if making a serving and coat it with some super glue. I tried it with some dental floss it looks like it would work.

I've used real sinew and it works very well.
