I had one of Bob's standard longbows several years ago--shot it as well as I ever shot anything then got to having affairs with other bows that took my eye. The Kohannah stayed unused on the wall for a while until I needed funds for yet another fling with a new eye catcher. I sold her....my friends told me I was nuts and they were right. Sure would like to have her back. Bob makes fine bows for sure.

I have had a couple of Bob's bows,a Kurve and a Windwalker longbow. They are well made and solid built, great fit and finish, smooth and quiet shooters. They are as good as any out there. My buddy had Bob make him a Windwalker longbow with horn nocks like on an English longbow, first laminated longbow I ever seen with those type of nocks, very cool looking.

I just traded for a 3pc T/D Elite longbow, it is the fastest 50# bow I ever shot. I draw 29" so its 53# or so but it is a very nice bow. Great fit and finish. I may have to pick up one of Kurves at some point.

I have a Fury Extreme, great bow, very smooth drawing, no hand shock, and great grip.
I'm actually looking for a Kurve for my next bow.

I have the standard longbow. My bow is matching elm lams with pau ferro(?)riser. I would absoluetly recommend it. Having said that I have never shot the Windwalker.

Yeah, Adam--very clearly  The riser was cocobolo and the limbs were osage. Sold it to a cop from Rochester one year at Denton Hill.

Bob is top notch. He builds a tough bow that is plenty quick and quiet. I have his original Longbow with bamboo under Osage and macasser ebony riser. Slight palm swell and thumb rest grip. I'd like to have another fury. You won't be dissapointed.

Somethin about that "Osage" you either love it or hate it ... Although I've talked with a few Bowyers who didn't recommend it at all, to slow & heavy for them ...

just sold a windwalker - as fine a longbow as they come in terms of build, material and performance ... and price tag, too. the current wait is 5 months and escalating.
