I didn't like it because I found it didn't breathe & it was heavy compared to my Under Armour, UA is amazing, I wouldn't wear anything else!

I had regular Rivers West and the LAW.  Good for sitting, very warm.  Didn't breathe and was about impossible to dry out once it did get wet. And it WILL get wet, mostly from the inside.  My original Sitka Gear Downpur and Nimbus are the only rain gear I've ever had that actually worked.

Same reasons I quit using Rivers West as above. Hot, always wet, and hard to dry out.

thanks it seems the lack of breath ability makes it a big negative.

I find it's alot like wearing  rubber or plastic rain gear.

Hmmmmm. I have the lightweight Rivers West.  Don't find it hot, and mine has never gotten wet from the inside, nor the outside for that matter.  Of course, I don't live in a southern climate, and don't wear it in warm weather.

I have both and like them both. It depends on what you are using it for.
I gave up on a one camo works for everything a long time ago.

I bought a set of the light stuff.

Rain doesn't have to get through. I am soaked from the inside out, it doesn't breath at all.

Total waste of $250 in my opinion.

I have a backcountry jacket and it was 100% h20 proof for about 3 years then started to not work well. I mostly used it for light walks and fishing so I was not building up much sweat anyways. I would not want to put on a heavy pack and head up hill though. For the uses I wanted it for it was more then fine.

For settting on the stand I have a jacket and bibs you wil not get cold or wet. I dont think I would do much walking in the outfit in Ga winters as for the reasons talked about above but for on stand rain and cold and wind I love mine. Troy
