new boat setup loaded with fish:)
« on: April 30, 2010, 06:42:00 PM »
took our new boat setup out last night for the first time. we got into alot of fish, mostly average size. we scouted and found where the big guys are and we'll be back real soon. btw- having to work all day after shooting fish till 2 in the morning isn't a good idea:) and also for anyone wondering the fish are now being used by a farm as fertilizer.

Okay, I'm a little slow.  Just wondering how one would go about making fertilizer out of the fish, since my wife likes to garden?  We already have a steady supply of horse manure, but I will probably end up bowfishing abit when I move to Oklahoma and I don't like to waste.  Probably can only eat so many gar and carp.

just burn them in the garden. youre garden will be so rich. or if you compost, turn them in with your compost

bmb can you post a pic of your boat? pdk, I bury some head down around the rose and berry bushes. Dig deep and don't lay the fish on the ground next to the hole. I don't have diggers this way.

bmb can you tell me what a flopper stopper tube is? What do you run your lights off? I am refitting my boat soon and looking at options.
