Thanks RC, always enjoy your posts and pics.  Snakes give me the creeps and the gator pic in that puddle is cool.

WOW....so much to learn so little time...I am heading down your way soon....not sure how the plans will shape up though.

Bought some of them turtle skin pants though...J.I.C. (i know i am just a woossie....but I will be an UN-BIT woossie

THat gator knows where to be though. Is it far from the swamp...can't imagine they like to get caught out in the open much.

Awesome pics.  I'm glad that there aren't to many gators where I'll be in Oklahoma.  Plenty of snakes, though.

So nice to walk with you, RC. Truly a blessed outing.
I had to copy and paste that line to my "doodles" file, after I read it to my husband. I had to explain what caused me to guffaw like that.

I am enjoying my time in the swamp and among the snakes vicariously through your pics.

Nice pics, I believe we're hunting the same place, at least it looks the same, same critters too.

Thanks fellers and Ladies.
Shinken the lizard was probably 5 feet long. Not to big.

Ron W, the snakes are here. After several close calls I tend to spend a lot of time walking slow and paying attention where I`m walking. They are not hanging from every tree but this far South you gotta pay attention.Snakes are the swamps thats just the way it is.Pigs do eat them though but I`m sure prefer other stuff.

A lot of inexperienced hunters will come here and hunt and never see one. Truth is they probably were within feet off some several times and just did`nt know it.Even my Hero Biggie has been bit once I believe....snake died.RC
