The Best shooter

I found a nice 1962 kodiak.
I have shot several custom bows.
This kodiak is unbelivable how it shoots.  :archer:
Now I want a 59er also.

Over in the collector section a fair bit has been written about the best vintage Bears shooting capabilities, and the 1962 in particular-even head to head comparisons.
Go take a look and have fun!
I agree that the 1962 is the best shooter; but the 1959 does have the Mojo!

I will say that I've only shot one 62 Kodiak...one I bought in 1965 and sold in 1982.  Selling that bow was one of the most idiotic things I've ever done........I shot that bow better than any other recurve I've had in my hands.

Congrats on finding one that suits you.

I have to confess I don't think I shoot a recurve as well as I do a longbow.  Of the ones I have shot the ones I liked best were Bears.  My buddy owns an old Kodiak that used to be his dads, brown glass over some kind of wood core.  It is a very smooth shooting bow.
