Holm Made Osprey
« on: May 06, 2010, 10:03:00 PM »
This is my first post and I would just like to comment on how much I love my Holm Made Osprey. It is a sweet bow! Chad is a great guy to work with. I bought the bow at the end of March and shoot it almost every day. It is 61" 48#@28. It has a Kingwood "Lazy S" Riser with Curly Koa veneers. I would highly recommend any one wanting to get an awesome shooting longbow with beautiful craftsman ship.

Welcome to the Osprey Club. Chad makes fine bows indeed.

Do you have any picks showing the curly koa veneers a little better? Great looking bow.

Couldn't agree with you more Loren ,I Purchased a bow from Chad in March,And I'm now waiting for my second one from him that should be done in a week or so,I had him make me a practice bow,Only thing this one's got some wood burning in it ,To tell my stories !

When I get the bow,I will show photos and tell the stories each figure in the bow represents.

Chad is certainly one Craftsmen .They're certainly worth the money .

You've got one fine looking bow there,And knowing the "osprey" ,It shoots as good as it looks I know mine does .

I met Chad at a shoot a few weeks ago and had the pleasure of shooting one of his osprey's. I would put this bow up against any other longbow out there. I was fast and had no handshock and shot where I looked. I will be ordering one soon!

I know I like mine. It's the best shooting bow I've owned. I've been shooting for some 50 years and have shot about everthing out there.Time to get rid of some bows and buy another
