i dont know whats more fun.....

I don't know what's more fun, going to shoots or actually going hunting! I so much look forward to opening day, but, when there is a shoot coming up, it seems the week just drags because I'm so fired up to go shoot with a bunch of good friends and making new ones! Its hard to beat a nice walk thru the woods with friends and shooting some arrows!

I know exactly what you mean.

I'm hoping to find someone to go with me to Flatrock next weekend.

I just don't really trust making the long drive alone.

How great it will be if I get to attend.

God bless,Mudd

You're right Joe - we had a blast today!    :knothead:

Do you have any interest in going up to Chippewa next month?  I talked to Jeff right after you left and we might spend a night at my cabin Friday and then head up Sat. AM.

I wish I would known you had that camera, I could of asked you to keep taking a bunch of pictures and maybe that would thrown you off your game!!! Lol! Good shooting today Joe!

I think 3-D's are more fun, hunting is a lot more work, and more exciting.    3-d's are buddies, bows, and friendly competition. Hunting, is cold, wet, long hikes, short periods of excitement, then lots of blood and heavy hauling.

Having said that, I would much rather be standing in a northwest rain watching a 6 X 6 bull elk work his way closer, or feeling the weight of a pack full of meat on my back with four miles to go to the truck any day of the week.

I'm with ya bud, it's always great to have a few buds together at a shoot but the hunt is the place I prefer because of that moment that GOD grants the wish & the feeling it bestowes apaun us when we know we made the shot.
