They are both great shooters.  The bows of same weight and length the Lee will be faster.

If possible, shoot them first.

I have both and like both but prefer the Lee.

I'm with Craig on this one,I own a widow ,a Lee and a A&H ACS. The ACS is by far the superior bow, then the Widow then the Lee.

Maryanne !     :biglaugh:
I have an MAV and with its heavy riser and 62" limbs, it's solid and smooth. Haven't shot a Bob Lee, but if your draw is really 31.5" you may be happier with a 64". I draw about 30 (when I'm doing it correctly!)..and the 62" works well for me.

You have to know how each fits hour hand.
I am a widow shooter, and have tried a Lee, but it didn't feel good to me.
Don't get me wrong.  Bob Lee makes a great bow, but the way I grip the riser, it hit the joint on my thumb. This was very irritating to me.
Moral is try before you buy.

I chose the Bob Lee "Stick" longbow because it is so quiet and stable. Probably not that important for elk, but for deer quietness is a significant advantage. There are a lot of great bowyers out there.

When buying any bow if you don't shoot it ahead of time or at least one or more very simular it is a crap shoot. No way I would not try out the BW before buying it because they make it very easy for you.I would find a Bob Lee to shoot as well or I would scratch it off my list.

Neither of those bows are my cup of tea but both are excellent bows for the right person.Without shooting a number of bows you will never know if you are that person or not.jmo
....Quality deer management means shooting them before they get tough....

I was at the Howard Hill shoot yesterday and shot the new PCH Widow and my draw length is 30 inches. I ordered there 58in bow and it shot great with no stacking at all.

I also shot a 64in Bob Lee and i loved that bow also.

To me the difference is those Widows just look so much better than the bob Lee bows and i like good looking bows.

The best advice anyone can give you is shoot one before you buy, period.

One more thing those Widows are really expensive bows. I ordered a 58in PCH cocobolo riser with yew accent and limbs with copperhead skins. Total price a little over $1,500 dollars, worth it, well to me it was what i wanted and i figure it will last for many years to come so i think its a pretty good investment.

I also shot a PSE a kid had out on the range and it shot just as good as the widow i ordered. The boy payed less than $300.00 dollars for the bow and believe me it was a rocket.

You do not have to spend a lot of money to get a great bow but im just one of those bow nuts that likes the high end bows.

Call me crazy but its just what i like.

Personally, the widow is my choice. But, I have never shot a lee and have not heard anything bad about them.  Widow has several models to accommodate your draw. Give both of them (widow and lee) a call.  Widow will bend over backwards for you and I'm sure Lee has great customer service as well.  Talk to them about exactly what you want.

Another thing to consider is the widow will retain its value better than most bows.  So, if you decide to sell or trade it, you will come out well.

Good luck!

Had both and the Lee was quieter and just as fast in my eyes.  Widow has too much mass for my taste.

I have both and I believe the Bob Lee is an around better bow.
