kids boardbow

Here is a boardbow I built for my grandson's birthday.  He is 4 years old. The riser is an old Remington Rolling Block stock.  The limbs are 1/4" x 1 1/8" oak plank bought at Home Depot.  It pulls 10# @ 14.5 inches.  Shoots 1816 arrows real well even out to 15 yards.  The string is cotton polyester  until I get one made. Hope his dad doesnt search this site and see it before the big suprise.  Total length is 38".

Very nice looking bow. Your Grandson will love it. I am just about to begin a couple of similar bows, for my 8 year old daughter and my 6 year old granddaughter. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks for the pm with all the info, I really appreciate it.  Hopefully will be able to make something similar for my boy.
