Talk about customer relations, I miss spoke and described my bow that I have on order above with curly maple on the limbs. It is actualy water fall Bubinga. Jim read my post and offerd to change it for me when he seen that I had put curly maple in the post. he had already glued the Water fall Bubinga limbs up. I am glad I am working with him because he knew what I wanted I just did't put i down correct in my post. By the way, this is my first custom order and I think I am in good hands with Jim.

WOW, got my bow in today and when I unpacked it I was in love! this thing is beautiful. I put it together and strung it up and shot about 6 arrows through it with judo tips (shooting at a Coke bottle in the yard) just to get the feel of it and I can't believe how smooth the draw is. I will post pics tonight or tomorrow to show it off.

Glad to hear you are happy with your new bow. I am anxious to see it, Jim does some really nice work!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Welcome and congratulations with your choice of longbow
I have two Firefly longbows and really like the way they shoot and the looks.
And the bowyer Jim is a top notch guy to deal with!

Machinist nice bow, yours looks very similar to mine. Zircote riser with bacote veneers. I like dark bows.
