Has anyone shot a wapiti longbow built by J.K. Chastain. Either the Spike or the Yellowstone. What did you think of them? How much hand shock if any? Thanks

had a Spike, it's a reflex/deflex type bow, no handshock that I remember. I have seen the Yellowstone, it's more of a straight end type longbow, so I would expect a little thump on release, like a Hill or other traditional longbow. Nothing objectionable, though.
The Spike was a good bow, I just ordered it too heavy for me and had to let it go.

I had a Spike also, good shooting bow. Wish I still had it.
