ST. JUDES -- Did you know . . . (Fact 51)
« on: May 25, 2010, 08:25:00 PM »
Did you know in 1997, Jessica became a patient at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to receive treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), the most common form of childhood cancer. Although only 9 years old at the time, she refused to let the disease rule her life. After learning she would receive chemotherapy treatments every week for two and a half years, Jessica exclaimed "I'm too busy to do this every week!"

Today, she is a 20-year-old college student who is thankful that St. Jude was there for her and her family.

Just about every one of us is touched by cancer or knows someone who is touched by cancer. The Tradgang family is and can continue to make a difference in the life of a child just like Jessica.

Great job Larry .... the "facts" are the best    :jumper:
