Antelope hunt in SD?

I am looking at going to SD to hunt antelope in August. My question is with walk on land. With this program, how hard is it to find water holes? Would you recommend going to walk in land or going to different ranches and talking to them? I have never hunted outside of WI so I am trying to make this the best possible hunt I can. Thanks for your help.

I did it a few years back.... Went to a few gas stations and asked around and a few people later had access to 6000 acres of awesome goat area. Don't know it it was luck or just easy to get permission. Bring a few dollars or some WI cheese as a thank you and I'd think you'd be able to find some property... PM me if you want any furthe info
