I believe in Ghosts !!!
« on: June 07, 2010, 10:11:00 PM »
Just picked up a Super Ghost, Cocobolo riser, Osage limbs marked 50# at 28, 60” bow. I draw every bit of 30” the bow has no stack and is super smooth out to that 30” draw length.

Shooting a B-50 string and cat-whiskers, the bow is dead silent and quick with 550 grain 2018's.

This is my first GN Super Ghost I will buy more. The bow points and shoots perfect (for me), if I can pick up a new bow and first time out shooting, hit nocks at 25yards it has to be a great bow, sure could not be me.

One of the best shooting recurves around without a doubt! Mine was dead silent with D97 and oh so fast! Congrats and enjoy your new bow!

I second that motion but where's the pic?
I've had 2 and doubt I'll ever give the current one a chance to escape. Oh, mine were Ghost. Not Super.
Currently have 3 GN's and they are all exceptional.

Sounds nice Doug.My second curve years ago was a 60 inch superghost. It was 65#s at 30 inches.

I hunted with that bow for a few years and shot 3-D with it.It had a Coco bolo riser and All Osage limbs. It was great shooter and matched up well with my longbows in feel and quietness.

Those Osage limbs and heavy arrows were a nice combination for sure.

Not gonna retire your Ferret are you?

Nice score!

Nice bow(s)!!!

Will they shoot the same arrow? With the similar handles, do they shoot the same place with no adjustment(s). Just look and shoot?

They call the "Great" Northerns for a reason!!!

They are really nice bows,  I had on and it was just  a tad too heavy or it would still be with me.

carpenter, don't have a chronograph so can't give any expert opinion on speed but the Ghost feels and looks to be a tad faster. Both are plenty quick and stable.
I seem to handle the straight grip better than the index. Most I've talked to prefer the index.
I use the same arrows out of Bushbow, Critter Getter and Ghost.
If my form would improve they would probably all shoot better.

What's the difference in the GN Ghost and the Shadow?  I know that the Shadow isn't made any more.
