What's a carpet dripping?

Red Beastmaster,

It's the glue that they use on the bottom of a piece of carpet, while it is drying it drips into some kind of container and the guy cleans out the containers keeping it all in one piece.

Some of them are HUGE.....others smaller. Either way, it makes an awesome target. The guy hauled a trailer load up to ATAR year before last, last year he had something that prevented him from making the trip. I hope he makes it this year.

Don,

It's the same stuff they use to insulate railroad cars, right?  Either way....ya gotta keep that kinda info hush-hush.

Kevin is from Georgia, and I hope he's there this year.  As if right now, I have 3 of those target thing-a-ma-jigs and it's simply GREAT stuff~.  I want another!!!

Carpet dripping huh? Never knew that but I had one of the GA boys "blob" targets for years. Great target until I had it about shot out and last winters freeze split it into several pieces. I'm hoping to get a new one this year.

Red Beastmaster,

I believe we are talking about the same type target. Perhaps I am wrong about them being comprised of "glue drippings"......but that is what I was told. All I know for sure is that I want one.

The three targets I have are great no matter what they are made of.

The GRAY one is the hardest one of the three and the one I use for broadheads.  Yes,removal is a snap with BH, but use a field point and you will be yankin pretty  hard to get it out.

The GREEN one is what I would call the "medium" foam one and can go either way, field points or BH; however, I stay with field points.  I just think it will last longer.

The last one is the BROWN one. Again, field points and BH...but I suggest if you buy this one it be great for low poundage bows. The BROWN one is the softest one of the bunch.

As for me, I hope to buy a very large one.  If I can get one, I'll take a chain saw and cut it in half.  Yup, two targets for the price of one!

Chadt1   so much for your request for vendors. I'd like to know myself. Try the Trad events in the forums title column.
