Jim Fisk (Jack Harrison) Longbow Pics?
« on: June 09, 2010, 03:23:00 PM »
Anyone got pics of a Jim Fisk longbow since he took over making them for Jack Harrison? Would like to see some braced photos if possible. Thanks in advance.

Not to hijack the thread, but I figure someone who has pics might know the answer to this question.

Does Mr. Fisk promote the same opinions on strings as Jack Harrisson did/does?

Tw I will PM some some pictures of braced bows of Jacks. Jim Fisk bought the forms for these bows from Jack. I can send pictures of the Black Wolf, El Lobo and HHC. These are built by Jack, but I imagine Jim's bows should have the same profile since he uses the same forms.

Justin correct me if I am wrong.

Here is Jack Harrison's website. Jack is only buliding a few bows per year now. You may want to contact Leo Merkert (longbowleo in Tradgang). I believe that the few bows Jack is going to make will be sold via Leo. Let Leo know what you are looking for. He has many contacts with Harrison bow owners and may be able to find you a bow.

Thanks
Gil

Justin, the reason I asked about the webite is because you said he was still making bows and bringiing new designs to the table and I wanted to see the new stuff. There was a miscomunication.
