Pse kingfisher vs. Quinn
« on: June 11, 2010, 04:51:00 PM »
Hello,
I am currently wondering which would be the best buy for me. I am in the market for a metal risered recurve bow. I don't really want to spend a ton of money on the bow. I am planning on using it for bowfishing and the occasional target or small game shoot. I am debating whether it would be a better idea to get a Pse kingfisher and load it up with accesories for around $200 or to get a Quinn stallion for $235. Thanks.
I never miss where I am aiming, it is just that sometimes I aim at the wrong spot.

If it's purely for bowfishing, the PSE Kingfisher is OK. That said, the Quinn is a much, much better bow.
For the sake of $35, go with the Quinn.

You cannot go wrong with the Quinn.  Not only is it a great bow, but it will also retain it's value.  They are probably the best bow value out there IMO and will shoot with bows costing much more.

I think the Quinn is a better buy in the long run also. Great bows for the money and like said above resale is very good.

I have them both, The Quinn is way ahead of the PSE Kingisher in any and all respects as far as shooting, hunting, smoothness  and so on. If you take any care of you equipment, a Quinn is practically bombproof, and shoots like bows costing 2-3 times its price. I have sold most of my high dollar bows, and hunt mainly with Quinss. If you need any help tuning one, holler at me if you get one, can help you keep it simple and easy to tune. Sam.
