Arrow dipping question

If I use the Bohning fletch-lac paint to dip my arrows, do I have to seal the paint afterwards with anything or just fletch it right over the paint?  I will be dipping some woodgrain carbons in hot pink. I will not be cresting them.

I also have looked at using House of Kolor's hot pink lettering enamel.  Has anyone used this before?  How did it work.

I checked out Bohning's website but it did not mention anything about sealing over the paint.

Dave, With Bohning's paint you can just fletch over the dip with no sealer. Just use fletch-tite glue....

I think you wil have to dip the arrows in white first as a primer or the color of the arrows will show.  I had to do this when I dipped  flo green  crest over solid green arrows.

I just noticed that Bohning does not list a flourescent pink paint.  Who does make a good quality flourescent pink paint?  I've seen pictures of arrows using this color but I don't know what they are using.

I dip in bohning and then use the House of Kolor's paints to crest with.
No need to put a sealant over your dip.
I think bohning makes a pink dip paint, just be sure to use a white base color dip.

I did do a base coat of Binz white sealer.Then 3 coats of water based poly.

Well, I called Bohning this morning and found out that they quit making the pink paint over a year ago.  I did call a local automotive paint dealer and they can mix up a quart of hot pink in an acrylic urethane(single stage).  It should be a tougher finish than either lacquer or enamel. Supposedly the glue will adhere to this with no problems.  I think this is what I will try.  I am going to try it on one arrow and I will let ya'll know how it turns out.
