they are probably good, My dad bought some for his wheels. I see no reason to move from the regular snuffer  myself. The SS have a shorter distance from point to rear, which makes for a steeper angle.

Personally I like a long broadhead for a lower angle.

If you want a 1 pc head, and can get them sharp, they might just be the ticket.

I thought them OK, never could get them as sharp as I wanted.

Blades look to be welded to ferrule, not shot as one pc like the G5 Montec (used them too, and couldn't get them as sharp as I liked).

I'll run reg Snuffers, change the blade angle and hit them with a file or Accusharp.

Way easier.

BTW, I ran the Snuffer SS out of my Hoyt compound at 272 FPS and they flew like a fieldpoint. No problems with machining/alignment.

My experiences with the SS Snuffer have been varied.  They are easy enough to get sharp and fly great.  Have taken foxes, pigs and a fallow with them.  Only downside I have found is some bending out of alignment on hard bone impacts.
Sent some bent ones back to Magnus and they replaced them for me.  What a deal!

Have found the G5 Montec to be very good in the past too.

Hey Mike,

Rep for Terminators came by shop today, boss bought some. Does that tool steel sharpen up easier than the Snuffer SS and Montecs?

Pretty cool, their being made in state, in the town where I grew up.

Like supporting as local a biz as I can.

Hi Hookeye, our broadheads are made by the same man that makes the Terminators, same steel. They are both very easy to get sharp. Great broadheads.

I don't think much of either of them.  Very narrow to my way of thinking.  On the other hand if your shooting very light poundage!!!.  Or a moose or brown bear.
