I just bought some of the 1535 Blems from Big Jim for a friend who is shooting a 30- 40 # bow, so now I'm thinking I'd like to try them out of my 45-50 # bows ( I currenlty shoot 3555) and am not going to switch just thought I'd shoot some, however can I hurt my bow if the arrow weight isn't heavy enough? say shooting 125 gr tips?  Thanks.

Gold Tip 1535 weigh 7.6 gpi, 3555 weigh 8.6 gpi.  The weight difference between the two 30 inch arrows, 30 grains.  No problem.

I made some for my son and the total weight with 100 gr point is 375 gr that's with a 29.75 shaft and standard insert. You will be around 400 grains. if you don't have to cut the shaft too much. At 50 pounds you will have 8 GPP but I don't think there gonna fly right they will be weak.

but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.
