In my opine from a shooting perpective, Grayling is the one of the best events out there! 3D course is layed out in the Oak hills at Hansen Hills recreation area targets a placed real well and the 2D course is real unique! Grayling in a can't miss for me, actually got to shoot with the Riverrat last year! For me it is the closest event from Tip of Mitt where I live! As stated gas prices are $4.15 YUK

I remember that long hot climb, that first pic is me and maddie coming down the hill. Love that shoot can't make it this year, madie has a leadership conference in D.C. that same weekend. Wife and I are going to vacation in Virginia while Madie is in D.C   Have a great time to those that make it. Todd

I have only gone one time and that was is 2008. Me and my wife will be camping at Otsego Lake a few miles to the north so I will be going on Saturday.

I was there last year while my wife was working a horse show at Traverse City. I thought the shoot was excellent! Met some fine folks and the 3D and 2D courses were really well done. If it wasn't so darn far away, I'd go again.
