The Fedora Method
« on: June 30, 2010, 01:27:00 PM »
Just back from a day of coaching from Mike Fedora, and it was well worth the time and money.  In his Pro Shop, he has a big picture of Howard Hill at full draw, with most of the "steps" visibly in use.

I just made an appointment to get fittend for contacts, because even with his technique for us 4 - eyed guys, I could not overcome my head-positioning habits developed in 29 years of barebow shooting.  So, off came my glasses, and I learned the other strategy, which worked like a charm.  In fact, by the end of the day, I was shooting better his way, without my glasses, than I did my way, with glasses.  My vision is not that terrible - I can pass the driver's test without them - but I do need the suckers.

I would recomend a session with Mike to anyone !

Yes Sir, I've never shot better after my session with Mike about 10 years ago. I highly recommend it if you can visit with him and his great family............IJ

Gotta love that high anchor. Me and my dad went to him for bows/lessons a few years back. Between his lessons and finding this site shortly after, I became obsessed with trad archery.

I had a few lessons from Mike last year. Shortened my draw 2", from 30" to 28" and my trad bow shooting improved quite a bit. I still really don't need an arm protector since his lessons.
