The day at IBO worlds.
« on: July 16, 2010, 07:15:00 PM »
Great day at Twin Oaks today. IBO Worlds is off to a great start. It was HOT and HUMID but fun. Spoke with some great folks today: Denny Sturgis, Ty Pelfrey, Dale Karch, shot with Gary Davis. Everyone really enjoyed the ranges. Novelties were a lot of fun this evening but addictive...like cocaine! The pop up range with movers was very popular.

As for me, I shot okay. I decided to shoot the IBO course first and then the Hunter's Challenge. First 10 targets I suffered - didn't warm up long enough - but shoot well the second 10.

Hope to see some of you tomorrow.

Well, If you shot with Gary, that's It! Not much more you can do to for a great weekend!

Hope you have pics, wish I could be there to see great folks, very fortunate Ranger!

Enjoy!

Right you are about both; great day and hot 'n humid!  I'm across the tent from 3RA, stop by and intro yourself.

Say Hey to "batman" and Preston for me if you run across them. Batman (Don Batten) will be the quiet one, perhaps playing a banjo, Preston Roberson will be passing gasssssssssss - LOL. Both will be shooting tens (and/or 12s), I hope. Good luck to all of our tradgang friends.

Rob - I met you at the classic I think. You made a bow there, perhaps your first. You're a Brit right?  I don't know....something about the tattoos and beard reminded me. If it's not you then you have a twin out there somewhere.  See you there.

Fletcher - I'll see you in an hour.
