Baby Turks
« on: July 20, 2010, 09:02:00 AM »
Been sitting here watching 3 different hens and about 16 babies.  12 are little bitty ones, and 4 are about twice as big.  They all kinda swarm around their mommas every little bit, then start spreadin' out clawin' at the ground and actin' like turkeys.

I've gotta feeder right at 20 yards from the window at the computer.  They're all around it, just peckin' away.  Pretty cute.  My digital camera doesn't have good enough zoom or I'd post pics.  They just look like little furry blobs out of it.  Sure are cute to watch though.  Looks like there will be plenty of turkeys to hunt.  :archer2:
