not sure which is "better" but im pretty sure the Ramhorn isnt being made any more. I asked Jim about that a while back and he indicated he likes making the longbows and thats what hes doing.
My guess would be they are REALLY similar bows overall.

Could I suggest a better question since both bows are well made by reputable folks?
In my opinion a better question might be which bow fits you better and does that translate into how it shoots "for you"?

I agree too, which one fits you better. Both bows are made by reputable bowyers.Everyone likes something different, some like a certain bow and thinks its better then a different one.And too just the opposite, can't say which is a better bow. They both are good bows.

Tim Finley makes an Awesome bow and he's cool. If you're looking for a great longbow at a great price, he makes the Kabekona River longbow for Greg @ G&M Archery. It's one of my favorite bows, very fast and accurate (love the grip). He's making a carbon one now that's supposed to be a barn burner.

I've not shot the ramhorn, however, I have shot the prairie swift and it's a great bow.

The simpler answer is, the one you have in hand when ye olde bull presents himself broadside at 18 yards!

Both are well made bows so the real answer is the one you shoot best. Not all bows suit everyone. Ever notice how many of the same folks are buying and selling bows around here?

Madness hit right on the money.
It's the one you shoot best.
They don't fit everyone the same.
