Need some string help fast.....
« on: July 21, 2010, 10:17:00 AM »
I have a brand new 62" 53lb Belcher longhorn. Last night the bottom loop broke/let go.(No Damage to the bow or me) This is my delimma the Belchers are in PA at a show and I need a string before the weekend. Does anyone know what type of string Jim uses on his bows. Can someone get me a string that will work to NC before the weekend? Our club is having a 3-D shoot and I would really like to shoot this bow. Thanks for the help!

I don't know what material he uses, but I can get you a string asap.  I use Dynaflight '97, 450+, 8125, and dacron.

Chad do you think it would be ok on this bow? It is a R/D with antler tips. Can you make the serving big enough for gold tip knocks to fit tight without sliding up and down the string? Thanks again
