i don't remember much about the jo-jan fletcher, but as with most any fletching jig, the nock receiver dictates whether it'll do 3 ro 4 fletch ... and if 4 fletch, whether it's 90x90, 75x105, or 60x120.

you need to learn to first do a little googling to get yer answers, my friend ...  :D  ...

Wiith a JoJan or any fletching jig with a separate clamp:

Fletch cock feather, index and fletch a hen.

Take the arrow out, flip it over 180 degrees, fletch another hen, then index BACK and fletch the last one.

Tough to do with uncut feathers such as flu flus or ones you plan to burn to shape.

Steve O nailed it. Essentially you are only fletching four feathers rather than the six you might do when makign flu-flues. Kelly Petersen used to make arrows using this technique.

Cagey "old timers" used it back in the days before indexable nocks for the best fletching clearance.  Those guys knew their stuff and I often find it is hard to improve on a lot of their findings!

You get two 4" feathers out of a full length feather.  You get 16 in^2 of flight controlling surface area out of 4-4" feathers vs. 15 in^2 on 3-5" feathers AND you don't ever have to look down or feel if you have your arrow knocked properly.

It is a win,win,win situation!

The knock indexer on my Jo Jan is 3 fletch on one side and 60/120 on the other.

There is no 60/120 indexer,60/120 is made by using the 3 fletch 120 degree by flipping the arrow 180 after fletchng two feathers and then fletching the last two.Jo-Jan 4 fletch index is 75/105 or 90 with a Jo-Jan TM nock reciever.

Okay, then 75/105.  Whatever it is, it doesn't work for me.
