Vermont Longbeard

Took my best VT turkey ever this am. He came on the run to a strutting tome decoy. I have been working on this bird for over a week. 11 yard shot. Used a string tracker for the first time but he dropped on the spot and it wasn't needed. I have been trying for a bunch of years to kill a mature tom in VT with my bow. 21 lbs. 1 1/4 in spurs 10 inch beard. I am a tired but happy guy right now.

I hope my pictures work. I am not much of a techie!

Not yet Steve. Little League is killing me. We've got Saturday games now. I'm still after turkeys. I went out yesterday afternoon to set my blind up for Monday morning. Schafer and I had some coming in on youth weekend but we got nailed by a hen that snuck in.
