It comes from Pandora. The trees root themselves around unobtainium deposits.

Probably shedua...but walnut was my first thought. I stock rifles for a hobby, so walnut stays in mind a lot.

Hard to say. The grain of wood can change in the same tree with some lighter or darker and some with character and some without. Also depends on the finish used. Some finishes make the wood look darker than others. Not really enough showing to say for sure. The BW Iron wood bows have a real straight grain and are a walnut color.
