I got a PSA kingwood with no red phenolic and olive ash limb veneers.  The all black look is really nice.

But danged if those catalogs don't make it to my house and get me thinking I should get one of the TD widder recurves in a mid-high 50's weight; Just in case I need to go hunting where I must fly... Maybe two sets of limbs fer whitetail and one for big game!!!

Hey Arkansaslongbow, put me down for having those "my next one will be the best one" thoughts too. Mudd sure hit the nail on the head with his observation about ole' Iceman Otzi. Yep, poor Otzi was likely passing through a nice stand of yew trees daydreaming about cutting a stave, getting perfect tiller, rubbing on a beautiful finish, etc. when those other guys sneaked up and got the jump on him!    :archer:
