great northern fieldbow
« on: July 27, 2010, 08:44:00 PM »
I bought a great northern fieldbow from Jerry at Denton Hill this past weekend and I love it! I have had some expensive bows before but I've never shot better than I do with this bow. It's 46#@28 and I pull a little over 27" so it's about 44#. It's shooting lights out with 125 gn Magnus broadheads on Wolverine shafts, about 450 gns. I belive I'll be hunting this fall with this bow. The quality is unreal for the price of only $295.00.  :archer:

Jerry is one of the greatest guys I've ever met.  His attitude, business ethics, and quality speak for itself.  I'm sure that it won't be too long and you'll be calling Jerry for another purchase!  ;)

It is so true what a superb and caring person Jerry is and in the light  of things we can also say the same of Rick.  A great couple of fellas.
They are the best!

I bought a field bow from Jerry about a year or so ago. He said he uses the Critter Gitter form but grinds the lams differently.

One bow. One arrow. My ideal.

I bought one for my wife a few years ago and it's the most enjoyable and accurate bow that has come to reside on our bow rack and that's saying something. One of the best dollar buys on the market. It's what fun in archery is all about.

Congrats on your bow!

The Great Northern "spirit" is what my twelve yr old son calls it. Rick and Jerry are set up beside each other wherever they go, and it just makes you feel good to go up and say hello! We made the 6 hour trek to Comptons this summer, and upon finally getting parked and unloaded, my son said loudly "I hope the Great Northern guys are here". He knew those guys would shake his twelve yr old hand with the same respect as they would Fred Bear himself.

The quality and value of the bows and quivers speak for themselves.

Congrats again on your bow!
