Jim was close to my shop and dropped by with a few of these "stock" bows. Fellas there are some sure ebough nice ones in there, 3 stick out in my mind-
1 was a 62" #50 Banshee with Bocote/Wenge Riser and Bocote Limbs, some of the best Bocote ive seen. There was another with Bocote limbs that was nice as well, cant remember the details on it.
There was a little 54" Banshee, #40, real nice Cocobola riser/black glass, but REALLY stand out little bow.
2 or 3 take down Banshees, grey actionwood with accent stripes etc...
All bows had a great satin finish that really made the woods stand out. It wasnt glossy, but more like a true "satin" finish you would find on a nice gun stock or something along those lines. One of my pet peaves is having a bow with nice woods and a finish so coarse that you cant really make out how nice the woods are... I think Jim has solved the problem of being able to see the woods and all there details, while still being a good hunting finish with no glare.
He didnt really have anything that fit what I was looking for, so we started an "order" from scratch.
