Midwest Traditional & Primitive Archery Expo
« on: August 01, 2010, 11:49:00 PM »
The Midwest Traditional & Primitive Archery Expo is set for March 4-6, 2011 in Waterloo, Iowa at the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center/Ramada Inn. I booked the Exhibition Hall and the entire first floor with six seminar rooms and food concessions. I'm in the process of lining up seminar speakers and welcome your suggestions. I have included a poster re. the expo here, and more information will be available at  www.tradarchersworld.com  in the near future. I look forward to hearing from many prospective vendors and attendees so we can build together to put this event on the map. Thank you. Tom

Be sure to put an ad in Traditional Bowhunter magazine.  I am putting it on the calendar to introduce my brother to traditional archery.  Looking forward to the event.

Brothers of the Bow have conflicts for this weekend with Banquets and pig  hunts, but we will certainly watch for future events. Mike

I'm guessing I will be attending this as I've never been able to make it to a Traditional Expo.  Looking forward to it!

I'm in the process of contacting prospective seminar speakers now but also welcome input from fellow TradGangers re. who they'd like to see/hear at the Midwest Traditional & Primitive Archery Expo in Waterloo. I'm sure there are many on this site who would do a bang-up job, too.
Regarding vendor packets, I have the information sheet (like at start of this thread) and registration forms/contracts made up. They could either be sent as attachments to an email or sent via USPS... your choice.
The Ramada Inn (connected to the Convention Center) will set aside a block of rooms for Expo vendors and attendees at a discounted rate. The Ramada people will cater the Saturday night banquet, as well. Also, parking will be free on an enclosed ramp nextdoor.
I'll get more information written as a letter to send out soon.
Thanks for your interest! Tom
