Mudd, if you really want to quit, the FIRST step is to package up ALL your "not keepers" and mail them to me, (I'll pay postage) then your on the road to recovery!!!

I had my eyes opened by several comments here and I sure don't have any desire to be seen as a quitter..lol I think I'll just admit it... I'm a bowaholic and be what I am.

Some of the support I got here is nothing short of phenomenal, I mean offers to take my bows that aren't on my "keepers list" and even one who was willing to take one of my "keepers" so I could keep the numbers down to at least the same as what's there already.

You folks are just too much! How on earth could anyone ask for a better support group or bunch of friends. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

God bless,Mudd

Glad to help, I am happy to hear your cured or at least the symptoms are gone.

The one in, one out idea has lots of merit, but when you get a new one in, it isn't always a good time to try to sell, so you have to hang on to the "out" bow a while to let the market go back up.  Might take a while!
Blessed are the peacemakers

Mudd, I used to be one too!! I had over 100 bows in a 5-6 year period. All the top bowyers too, now I still have 6 or 7 but only shoot RER recurves, they just fit me wrll and I shoot very well with them. Beware of the man with only one bow!! Shawn

I truly want to get down to shooting one bowyers bows.

I can see where I might end up owning a couple dozen of them in varying lengths, weigths, ect, ect...

Everyone needs a goal.. huh?

That is where i have ended up Mudd.  I have had many bows from many different boyers.  All of them had something special to offer.  I traded, bought and sold all makes of bows, but never managed to let go of a Robertson.  That got me to thinking, if I could sell any bow that I had except the Robertsons, why would I buy any other style of bow?  They are not the fastest, not the most expensive or cheapest, but they fit me.  I shoot them better overall than any other brand bow that I have ever shot.

I have only Robertson longbows left, but I am trying to figure out which woods I want for a new Robertson Tribal Styk recurve...
But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. Psalms 3:3
