Got this bow a few weeks ago and just learned how to post pics. Vermilion River Bows "River Hawk" recurve. I'll shoot through a chrono this week and see what happens. Here are the specs:
Riser: Koa with walnut accent
Limbs: Koa veneers
AMO: 62"
50# @ 28"
For those of you not familiar with Vermilion River Bows, the bowyer is Bill Pfleger. He has an amazing eye for wood combinations and is able to acquire very fine pieces of any wood available. He will try to find any wood you want if it is a decent bow wood. His design is more refined than most and his work is as good as any. His bows are very fast, as smooth as any to my 30.5" draw, totally free of handshock and as stable as any bow made. He also makes an amazing longbow, the "River Scorpion" that shoots good enough to tempt any dyed in the wool recurve lover!
