Been outfitting 5 new trad shooting guys and now two of their wives.  I've been making, buying, and scrounging like crazy and have plenty more to do for the two wives.

Just put a set of Bashlin tree climbing gaffs on layaway at a pawn shop....

Hope they're not the death of me!

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

LOL - well I feel a little better  :)
One thing I just seem not to do; is to scout enough. So; I made up for it by buying some trail cameras.....
The pack saddle and panniers and manties; and an over the riding saddle bags- set me back $450 - but... I just can't say I regret it.
And then there are some new wood shafts; and nocks; and oh good grief.....

I know I have.  This is my first season hunting, so piecing things together has been fun, but draining on bank account :/  The final piece of the puzzle are some quality boots for a decent price.  If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to let me know  :)

some of you guys sound like me two years ago. every year i would spend at least 1000.00 why i don't know, i already had one of everything and two of some. i'm retired and have to watch my spending closer now. iv'e only been married to my wife 3yr., i got my step-son into bow hunting. i made a big mistake telling him he only needs one arrow, the mistake was his mom overhearing me. being cutoff is bad enough, but being cut off from buying hunting gear just ain't right. be careful there everywhere. you guys know they only hear what they want to.    :banghead:        :banghead:
