Rogue River replacement?
« on: May 14, 2007, 06:28:00 PM »
I've been buying my finished arrows from Paula and Cecil at Rogue River for many years, but they have retired.

Can anyone here recommend a good arrowsmith for finished Port Orford Cedar arrows?

Cecil and Paula sold the business to Wapiti Archery. I understand that his quality is good, too, but I don't have any personal experience with him.

Thanks for the responses.  I'll have to look at their website.

I've been looking at some carbon arrows, but I'm going to stay with Cedar if at all possible.

Any other recommendations?

The Bill that Soaring Eagle mentioned is probably Bill Stroupe. Bill builds very nice arrows...and bows now.
His contact info is:
Hawk Arrows, 129 Pond Dr. Dallas, NC. 28034
704-263-4564     [email protected]

Tell Bill that George Clooney recommended him!    Pat
