2010 Treestand Safety Harness Giveaway and Challenge
« on: August 23, 2010, 04:28:00 PM »
Hello All,

It's that time of year.  Everyone is setting stands, trimming, and dreaming.  Don't let your dreams get derailed by forgetting about your treestand harness.
We just put up an additional two stands this weekend.  EVERY stand sold by a manufacturer tested by the TMA comes with a harness.  So there are a lot of harness' out there that are just sitting around collecting dust.  Put them to good use or GIVE them to someone who can use it.

THE GIVEAWAY
I will send my two harnes' and the supplied DVD to the first two Tradgangers who post in the lower 48.

THE CHALLENGE
For those of you who have an extra harness or two, offer them up or donate them to a Hunters Safety Class.

For those of you who have a harness and don't use it, USE IT.

Enjoy your hunts and return safely,
Jerry

"bawana bowman" and "the force",

I will be sending out the harness' and DVD's this week, use them in good health.

I got my first harness from Whip about 5 years back when he offered one up.  I was a new father, short on cash, and developed a newly formed habit of hunting.  I appreciated the gift and try to offer them up whenever we put new stands up.

Happy Hunting,

That is very good to see another gifting here on TG.  I will dig around and check my harnesses also.

Sorry it took so long, so far I have found two, tomorrow I will make sure they have all that came with them when I received them. They have never been used as I had a body harness already that I liked to use.

Ken

P.S. I hope some other members will try to help here as we already have more people that need them than we have body harnesses available at present.

I have one body harness that is complete at this time. So I guess rabbitbuster is next. Send me your address and I'll send it out to you.

P.S. I am still looking for one of the belts that go around the tree for the other harness.

Harness' on the way to Bawanabowman and the Force.

Let's keep it going for a little while longer, while everyone is still getting ready for their seasons.

Well I guess Rabbitbuster didn't need a safety harness after all. I have not heard from him so next on the list is Joshua Lee. If you will send me your address I will be more than happy to send it to you.
