CARBON ARROWS

I shoot a Hoyt GM 40lbs @ 28.  I have been practicing with easton xx75 2013 with 125gr field pts.  I have a dozen 3555 traditionals.  I'm getting extreme nock right on bare shaft tuning.  What would be a good wt pt to try?
The carbons have not been cut and are approx 30".

Ok - I consulted my "cheat sheet," and extreme nock right would indicate a stiff spine. I'm assuming you are using the 125gr points on the carbons-correct? I'd say try a 150 gr. and a 175 gr. point and see what that gives you.
You may also first try to lower you're brace height a bit if you're able,

And don't cut those arrows down yet because it will give you an even stiffer spine.

Those 35/55's are 30 1/2" long. I shoot them in a pretty wide variety of bows with varying weights. I put some 50 grain brass inserts and 125 grain tips and they shoot pretty well. This setup has been successful for me with bows from 42# @ 29".......all the way up to 51# @ 28". I REALLY like 'em.

I'm with winterhawk on this one  I shoot 35/55 at 30.5" with 125 gr point and they shoot great with my 47# @28"

Assuming the op is right handed, then an extreme nock right is a stiff arrow. If the op is left handed, then he has a weak arrow. If the op is a new shooter with very poor form and a very poor release, then the op is wasting his/her time trying to bareshaft anything. The op didn't state what his/her draw length is. If the op really needs a 30" arrow because of a long draw length, then a 1916 w/a 100 or a 125 grain head would be better IMHO. The Gamemaster is a bow that really benefits from an elevated rest and it's easy to tune a stiff arrow to that bow if you are using an elevated rest.

LGN, Have you tried group tuning with fletched arrows and bare shafts? That is called the Planing Method. Using that method of tuning, you DO NOT worry about shaft angle. You are only concerned with where your bare shafts and fletched arrows land in relation to each other. I would post a great link to a great website with great tuning info but I am not sure if I am allowed to do it on this Site. John
