Been practicing since February, Skinned Silvertip, Gold TIp Traditional front loaded with a Large Bonehead. Never killed whitetail, turkey, elk, bear or any big game with a recurve. Got addicted to trad in january, sold the wheelie last week. Hooked from here on out.
Not sure how i am going to handle myself when hopefully that bugling bull comes jaunting up to within 20 yards of me,dad or brother. Yes we all are carrying Recurves and we will all probably shoot the same time.Ha ha. The bull might either run off looking like a pin cushion or the mountain will be littered with arrows stuck up in the ground resembling pungy sticks.
Oh well, hopefully we will get into them and i can share some pictures of us with our trad garb on. This is a trip of a lifetime for me and my brother, dad has been going to Wyoming for 30 years and taken many with a bow from 5 to 50 yds. He is seasoned. We are not but have trained as best as we know how. Sorry for the long windedness, just anxious(hate planes, dad was in a crash in 88 in dallas) and just wish i could snap fingers and be there. TO all that inspire me and are heading out West , good luck and hope to see some pictures.
