Hunting deer in town

I have a reporter asking me about hunting deer in municipalities where they have become a pest. Can anyone give me the name of cities and towns where this has worked?

They currently have a late season archery deer hunt in NC that targets Suburbs.  Runs from January 1 to the end of February I think.

theres on in parts of the green bay wisconsin area hunters must past a shooting test before getting entered into a lottery to get teh chanc eto hunt in places inside the city limits

Ridgefield CT has done it for a few years with great results, Pound Ridge NY in westchester county has had great luck, Westchester county NY is opening county parks after last years pilot program worked great....the list is endless
