Mountain bike hunting rig
« on: September 05, 2010, 07:41:00 PM »
I got this design idea from a post from another trad ganger. I built it with stuff i had lying around the shop. This was my old bike, and I hunt national forest here and lots of bike trails. You can get deep, fast and quiet. I race bikes and see a lot of game. They just don't seem to pay attention to the bikes.
The little girl is my daughter Madison. And, yes I have already built her a bow!

nice!, careful you dont hurt that bow in tight quarters though.  i do a lot of hunting from my bike, awesome tools for getting deep in the bush.

Hey there Red4Arm.
That was my post, with photos, that you must have seen. Glad it worked out for you. Just be careful that you don't catch any brush with the bottom bow limb as you are riding. I have mine angled back a bit so the limb is facing back a little more. More like a wedge going through the brush and less likely to catch stuff. Good luck this season.
