waterproofing sinew?
« on: September 06, 2010, 10:02:00 AM »
I am interested in an Osage sinew bow that has snakeskin on it and i was wondering if there was some kind way that i could waterproof it. Would epoxy work? Any suggestions are appreciated.   :help:

The snake skin will help to water proof the sinew and any good finish will seal the whole bow. I use Tru-Oil on all of my bows.
