NAP Hellrazor broadhead?
« on: September 08, 2010, 08:14:00 AM »
Anyone used the hellrazor? They look similiar to the montec. I just ordered some. NAP is offering a $10 rebate. After rebate cost me just under $20.

I shoot their Razorcaps. If the steel and construction are the same they should be one tough and easy to sharpen head. I am totally sold on the Razorcaps because of the quality of the steel and construction. The edge they take and hold is just awesome and I will hold them up to any two blade for sharpness. Every animal I have killed with them has gone down in sight the exception being a bear i shot in Maine last week. I was tempted to get them for my wife and will be interested to see how you do with them.

The hell razors flew better for me than the montec out of my compund. I liked them for that set up. Don't use them now.

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

Trying to get away from the two blades. Had some trouble with blood trails. Pulled out some old Razorback 5's last week to try. They flew pretty good. What a design those were. Shot a beer can and what a nasty hole.

Sorry chopx2 I use 125gr or heavier.

I have shot them. They are dead on in weight, spin perfect, and fly great. They do however make a slight hissing noise when shot.

Bowhunters superstore but from their **** store. Leftover packages of three. This year they come in a four pack. I figure I couldnt go wrong after $10 rebate.

I shot them in my compound.  They flew amazing and were extremely sharp.  The only one I liked better is the NAP Nitron.  They are small and almost look cute but man did they perform well.  Last year my gf at the time(now my fiance)  took a nice KS 10 point with the Nitron with her 42 pound compound and he painted his way 50 yards and crashed.  They fly like field points in her bow.  I have switched to a 2 blade since I went trad.  Let me know how you like em.

Hey warbird I have used the hellrazor for two seasons now and I have had great results with them. I have shot stingers for years and years and still do but the hell razor is pretty impressive. They fly great out of my lost creek longbow. Mine do not make a sound while in flight they are very quiet. With the rebate it is a good deal with them in the four pack this year. So my results are nothing but good.
