2010 Not-So-SuperSlam Thread
« on: September 08, 2010, 08:41:00 AM »
Here is the official posting thread.  This thread should be used for posting you NSSS pics.  With each post, I think it would be good to mention which animals that you are still lacking in your quest for a completed 2010 NSSS.  This is all in good fun guys.  The animals chosed were done by a poll.  There were alot of animals listed and the top 10 were chosen.  Here they are.
 1. Rabbit
 2. Squirrel
 3. Whitetail (other deer species where WT are not available)
 4. Turkey
 5. Coyote
 6. Hog
 7. Coon
 8. Ground Squirrel (chipmunk, whistle pig, ground hog, ect.)
 9. Fox
10. Fish

These animals are not available to every person in every location, to do that would be impossible.  The poll of animals was set up to make it as accessable as possible to every one.  NO ONE REGION HAS ALL ANIMALS AVAILABLE LOCALLY.  For that I apologise.

Well guys, let's get started.  I hope to see everyone complete as much of the list as possible.

Remember, post pics of your animals!

This is going to be great. I actually have all species in my area except hog, but those are just a short drive away. Everything else Ive actually seen IN town. However, seeing and bagging are two different things. This should be a fun thread to participate in.

Good luck everyone.

They don't call him "Biggie" for nothing      :nono:
 Marty isn't exactly small either...

Pretty sure I'll add a squirrel or two as well a few deer soon.  Coyote, coon , and fox will be tuff!

I started this in Jan. 2010.  My list so far:
1. Rabbit
2. Squirrel-CHECK

3. Whitetail
4. Turkey-CHECK

5. Coyote
6. Hog-CHECK(ground hog!)

7. Coon
8. Ground Squirrel
9. Fox (have only seen one on my place, I think I will let him live and make babies)
10. Fish

I think for Fox, I will try for a Bobcat.  My county opened up Bobcat this season and we have a ton at my place!
So I need: Rabbit, Whitetail, Coyote, Coon, Ground squirrel, Bobcat and Fish.  Man I need to get busy!!!!

I should be out after a fish today, it is hot out!  Was on the river all day yesterday.  Just on a surfboard holding a paddle not a bow:)  I did get a snake with my paddle when I biffed it off the wave into the river and that nasty thing came right at me.  My husband laughed for 10 minutes at how loud I was screaming!

Gonna try for a squirrel or 2 this weekend...it's the only thing in season here right now.

Hopefully Katie and I aren't the only goofballs     :wavey:     that are actually trying to accomplish this    :biglaugh:

Here is a squirrel from my deer and elk hunt. Lots of them made the afternoons entertaining.
